Schooner Star in a storm

The 38-ton schooner Star was built in Dunedin in 1854 for Mr. James Adam of Milton. The Star’s maiden voyage, in the hands of Captain William Blackie, was from Dunedin to Wellington in November that year. On the return voyage, after leaving Lyttelton, Star was caught in the storm depicted here.
